Kayron Brewer, Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer

Lead Designer of Studio k B

Kayron's first residential design project was at the age of 13. Her parents encouraged her participation in a remodel of an upstairs bedroom addition.  At 16, she assisted the Interior Designer hired for a full house construction for her parents.  That introduction led Kayron to work as design assistant for that designer while in high school. With knowing she wanted to be a residential designer, Kayron pursued formal training at Auburn University.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interiors & Housing.  Discovering the kitchen and bath specialty while in college, sent Kayron on the path to becoming a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer, and later earning her Master status.  She spent the early part of her career within the specialty of tile and plumbing design, then shifted into the design/build and cabinetry sectors. She now has a breadth of experience to share with her clients.

She believes in listening to her clients to seek out their remodeling needs and desires, and tailoring a design to fit the client and respect the style of the home.  The approach to design is a collaboration between the homeowner, the designer and a craftsman to build it.

Kayron has been known to be very "hands on" throughout the process of remodeling and is with the client from the conception all the way through the final touches of the construction.  Upon a clients request for an engraving in a floor tile, she jumped right in and produced one herself. She finds it rewarding to have a special touch in some aspect of the project.

She has been recognized with several award-winning projects during her career, which includes recognition from Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Magazine, Crystal Cabinet Works and NKBA Puget Sound Chapter.  Kayron has participated in her industry as a volunteer for the Puget Sound NKBA board in the capacity of Treasurer, VP Membership, VP Professional Development and President.

Kayron's passion for the kitchen also flows into the art of cooking.  Discovering new foods, restaurants and cooking with friends are her forms of entertainment.
